On Saturday 3 December, Birregurra will host SHOW + TELL, an event to celebrate the launch of their Small Town Transformations project. SHOW + TELL kicks off the creative development phase of the Small Town Transformations project which celebrates Birregurra Hall and the role it plays in the community.

Birregurra Community Group has partnered with Birregurra Historical Centre, Colac Camera Club and local videography enthusiasts to deliver three recording booths on the day: Stories of the Hall, Faces of the Hall and Memorabilia of the Hall.

The material gathered at the SHOW + TELL event will be drawn on by the project's lead artists Craig Walsh (multi-media projection artist) and Gorkem Acaroglu of Metanoia Theatre in conjunction with local artists for the creative development of a number of ephemeral and permanent artworks for the town.

Following the event, there will be a free performance by junkyard rag'n'bone blues trio The Suitcase Royale at The Royal Mail Hotel in Birregurra.

We hope you can join us to meet Birre and the wonderful group behind this transformational project. RSVP on Facebook to let the project team know you can make it!
